The party take a moment to heal and assess the situation, having just fought off a Shadow Demon, summoned by Vestan. As they prepare to leave and find where Vestan teleported to, the automata that fell down the stairs early returns, bringing Shaile Talonrook, the Dean of Radiance as 'help'. Shaile immediately expresses concern for the damage to the teacher's lounge, but moves to help heal the party. As the party bring her up to speed, she agrees they should find him, but to do so safely.

Seeing Elias meet with Vestan in the park, the party decide to follow Vestan, possibly finding where he goes using his 'professor' robes that make up his Rodane disguise. He eventually arrives at the Biblioplex, and makes his way to a hallway that leads to a variety of classrooms and storage areas. The party are able to avoid the attention of a Lorehold 'mascot 'spirit statue, mumbling to itself, who seemed eager for a chat, and find a door marked 'Faculty Storage and Lounge'. They reason that Vestan is likely in here, but find that a Glyph of Warding has been configured around the door frame, and looks to be set to activate an Alarm spell if the conditions of someone passing through the frame are not met. They are able to open the door and see it leads down a staircase, but don't walk through the door frame.

Leaving Garak's warehouse with some additional coin and spell scrolls, the party go back to Snorge to let him know their side of the deal is done. Snorge is surprised on their speed to complete the task, but says he'll have their requested Fireball spell scroll available in a few days. The party take time to rest, catching up on their classes and extracurriculars, before returning two days later to get the spell scroll.

Having agreed to 'put the heat' on some students that owe Snorge's employers, the party travel to a nearby warehouse where Garak Tolade and a group of students known as The Cogs work out of part-time. Trix runs off to the lost and found bin at the Biblioplex, and searches for a variety of equipment that the party can use as a disguise. Trix returns, surprising the party at first, and dishes out costumes. They construct fake names to use:

Celebrating their recent win in Silkball, the party come back to their schoolwork. For this third and final trimester, everyone chooses an elective of their choice:

The episode continues with the party arriving at the Silkball stadium. The best way to describe Silkball is like a combination of dodgeball and lacrosse. For those interested, Ben and Michelle have created a set of rules for the game which you can download for free here, along with some game maps:

The party head off to their elective classes to finish up their second trimester for the year. Arth, having signed up for Beginning Computational Magic, arrives at a large lecture hall to complete this written, theory-based exam. In-lore, the exam consists of a lot of mathematical equations for Arth (the character), but for Luke (the player), he is given a real-life 9x9 Sudoku puzzle to complete! Arth starts on this while we examine what the other characters are up to.

The players discuss their character's level three abilities:

Arth continues going with Darius to the "Collective for Strixhaven Development" meetings, but finds that Vestan is reluctant to share much information outside of his "selected" group members. Trix feels concerned that they haven't spoken with Darius about Vestan's false identity (Rodane), and plans a meeting to sit down and talk with him about it.

The party continue following Vestan, who they suspect is also "Rodane", a figure who in Quandrix professor attire asked Edolkar to return a parcel to Candlekeep, which secretly contained Blight seeds. Khorvus leads the trail, following along as Vestan and Darius walk through the Quandrix grounds towards their club meeting. Arth, Trix and Edolkar keep their distance, but continue to follow.
